Creating AI Agents in JavaScript

Overview

I’ll demo how I built a multi-agent system in pure JavaScript, where agents collaborate to complete complex tasks using LLMs, tool usage, and a shared memory model. The system is entirely open source, built using KaibanJS, and runs both in Node.js and the browser.

I’ll walk through:

How agents are defined using roles and goals
How they plan, act, and react with real-time state updates
The architecture behind teams, tools, and LLM integrations
A live coding walkthrough showing agents solving a real problem together
